What is my skin type?

There are four types of skin: the oily, the dry, the dry/oily mixed, and the normal. It is actually very easy to do your own skin test. Go in front a well lit mirror and decide:
1-If OILY: You will notice large pores, breakouts, and shining texture. It is also hard to keep make-up on.
Solution: cleanse morning and evenings with oil free, water base soap to keep the skin hydrated and protected. For moisturizers select the ones with Niacinamides, and Vitamin B.
2-DRY: run a finger on your face. If you feel it tight and irritable, with a flaky look, visible small pores, hard to apply make-up on. You have in this case a slow secretion of the sebum.
Solution: Avoid harsh soap use the ones with Coconut oil, Shea butter, Cocoa butter, Olive or Almond oil. Moisturizers that contain glycerin, Hyaluronic acid and any type of butter are natural humectants that will attract moisture into this type of skin.
3-MIXED: the forehead and the nose area are oily, the cheeks and neck are dry.
Solution: clean the skin with a soap that contains Clay ingredients such as: Bentonite for deep pore cleansing, Kaolin for gentle cleansing, and French Green for oily skin. These clays, rich in silica, magnesium, and iron, improve skin texture, elasticity, and balance sebum. For moisturizers look for Vitamin B, C, Ceramides, and Hyaluronic Acid.
4-NORMAL: clear appearance, even (or uneven) color, feels neither tight or greasy. The pores are small and less visible. The skin is not sensitive to normal external stimulation.
Solution: keep your face clean with good quality soap and select an organic moisturizer you can apply day and night.

Which Moisturizer should I use?

Moisturizers that contain:
-Humectant used to attract moisture such as ceramides, glycerin, Hyaluronic acid. Also vitamins, minerals, collagen, skin firming ingredients, different types of organic oils and antioxydant.

How light should a moisturizing cream be?
In general, the thicker and the greasier the cream, the more effective it will moisturize your skin. This high density makes it very efficient.
Usually the smell is light or absent. That is a good feature.
We do not us alcohol based fragrances that give a very nice smell with damaging effects on the skin. Damages such as skin irritation, dryness and destruction of the skin natural barriers are the bad points for a good temporary smell. We use Roses fusion of all colors to get a light smell. (Red, Pink, white, yellow roses).

Why is it important to moisturize?
It is an every day task of modern life because your are practically nourishing your skin. Moisturizing your skin takes just a few seconds daily. Regular amounts of moisture in your skin also help reduce skin problems since our skin is our first line of defense, it is the first one attacked (wind, dust, sun, rain). Unwanted pathogens will have hard time entering in a healthy skin's pores and get into the bloodstream. A skin, well hydrated and nourished provides nutrients that help to reduce the signs of ageing, inflammation, redness and break outs.

Why is it important to choose Organic/Natural Ingredients?
When choosing a moisturizer, it is important to look for organic ingredients. As a rule, what is absorbed through your skin, is also absorbed into the blood stream. Chemicals found in skincare can be linked to all kinds of health issues including allergies, eczema, psoriasis as well as hormone disruption. Organic products are always the prefered ones.

How much product should I use?
No matter what natural skincare option you choose, always use a small amount. The heavier the cream the less you use, just a dot of a heavy cream rubbed between your fingers to adjust to your body temperature, then apply.
Solution: when trying a new product, it is a good idea to check it before use. Always do a patch test behind the ears by leaving the product for 24 hours. At that time check your skin color: if you notice any irritated or red spots, do not use the product, wash the affect area with cold water, two or three times until you feel the skin soft.

What do you mean by organic face cream ?
The FDA classifies the word Organic for products that contain ingredients with maximum 5 percent chemicals. It also classifies Natural products as the ones with 25 to 50 percent maximum of chemical.
Ingredients coming straight from the ocean and the earth are usually safe. Normally the ingredients come from reputable farmers. They don't use fertilizers, pesticides, GMOs, chemical, additives or colorants. Always read the label.

Are your products vegan?
Our products are formulated with organic ingredients designed to nourish and protect an array of skin types. All our ingredients come from the deep sea and earth plants.
We also use beeswax and organic honey from ethical and reputable beekeepers. Depending on whom you ask about beeswax and honey, you will hear that they are considered not vegan by some and vegan by others. After testing, our team of chemists discovered that the benefits of beeswax and honey to the skin were great for their anti-inflammatory , skin radiance boost, hydration and plumpness improvements in the skin among other properties. So we are using organic honey.

What is the best product for acne prone skin?
For acne, it is safer to consult with your healthcare provider. You could use Benzoyl peroxide, without a prescription. It is available in strengths from 2.5 to 10 percent. Use it only under the recommendations of your health care provider who will be more qualified to calculate the percentage you'll need. This ingredient kills bacteria that cause acne, helps remove excess oil and dead skin cells, which can clog pores, to be safe, always check with a dermatologist.

What should I use for rosacea?
To avoid any problems, consult with your healthcare provider if Metronidazole is right for you. This one is only available with a prescription. Check also the side effects and discuss it with your doctor.
Metronidazole is an antibiotic drug that reduces inflammation. It is commonly used in the treatment of rosacea. Metronidazole products are applied to the affected areas of skin once or twice a day in the form of a cream, lotion or gel or used as a tablet. Again only a dermatologist can help you with this rosacea.

What Hemp seed oil does?
Hemp seed oil contains omega-6 fatty acids that contain anti-inflammatory properties and can soothe eczema, and acne. It Helps repair sun damage. It also contributes to the reduction of hyperpigmentation of the skin. If you want to treat your skin with these chemicals, it is recommended to seek a healthcare provider's help.

Can a child use the cream?
Children are born with a perfect skin. They do not need any cream up until the age of 10 where they can be taught to keep a clean skin, by washing it with a gently soap, water and apply regularly a sunscreen cream in accordance with their pediatrician. Our products are meant for adults from late 20s to 50s and up.

To just see for yourself the compatibility of the product with your own skin.

How to perform skin patch test?
The skin patch test is easy and simple:
-Select one spot: behind the ear or under the jaw line
-Take a dot on one finger and apply it in a small area
-Let it sit for 24 hours
After two days, examine carefully if your skin turned red: it means that you are allergic to some ingredients.
Remove the product gently with water and stop using the product.

What is the shelf life of your skin care products?
Since we use organic ingredients, and do not use chemicals or preservatives the shelf life is 2 years from the day you receive your product. We do not have a warehouse to stock the cream. We prepare it on the day of the order and deliver it the day after. It's best to use our products within 6 months of opening and 24 months maximum from purchase. From experience, we saw customers ordering more for their whole body (arms, legs, and back of their hands mainly).

How can I get my skincare cream refilled?
Save your empty jars for credit. You can do two things: simply bring in your empty containers at the distributor store for refill. The distributor will let you know exactly when the next fresh batch will be ready. It is usually withing 24 hours. You can also mail your empty jars for credit.
